I don't own the first one, but I heard it was rather boring. The second one was pretty fun, but the hammer-ons are a bit tricky to spot. I think Guitar Hero III is super awesome! I can see the hammer-ons much better and the notes are clearer than they were in the second one! I wish it had way more songs though. I'm glad they have Slash in that one too! He's my favorite character!

Hmmm...The graphics sucked on GH I & all the songs were really easy.
Guitar Hero III I didn't really like, song wise.
Difficulty wise, it was good.
GH II was my favorite. (:

Honestly, I think the Rock Band games have a better song selection.
I have not played the first GH, but I have GH 2 & GH 3. I like GH 3 better because I think it's more challenging, but I think GH 2 had better songs.
And I don't think I really even answered the question. Oh well. |

I rented Guitar Hero 3 (for a bday party), and I failed ultimately. It was for Wii, btw. |
