My mum got it on DVD the other day, so I innocently sat down to watch it ... and bloody hell, it's not just me who wonders how the hell that got away with being a 12 is it (I'm not sure what it's been rated in America)??

So there was no foul language or sex, but it scared the crap out of me! Me, a 20 year old! Maybe I'm just easily scared, but even so ... little girls having their eyes sucked out by mud-things-that-become-the-gingerbread-man? The horse SWALLOWING that kid? The kitten who fell in the blender-like thing and had its guts sprayed everywhere??

Don't get me wrong, I rather liked the film, I just felt like spreading my shock about the amount of nastiness in it for a 12-rated film.

I'm done now.

...It has WHAT in it? Good lord almighty. O_O;;;

I'd be more surprised, but Happy Feet-- the entire plot is penguin sex, and it was rated... PG13 maybe, but maybe just G. I don't know. It made me go "eeeeh?".

Plus, the evil elephant seals and things scared the daylights out of me...

Grimm was okay, pretty awesome concept to play on. But I couldn't really get into it - I blame Matt Damon. I also blamed him for the lack of coffee this mroning.

I need a scapegoat. I used to blame it on Eli, but that got old.

Maybe I should blame it on the creator of Death Note. Wtf.

Actually no, I think Matt Damon would be a good scapegoat. I don't really like him as an actor. :|

Except in Dogma. He is in Dogma, right? o_O

Well done. Another cookie for you! ^-^

Can we throw Tony Blair in while we're at it? I've completely forgotten what we're scapegoating people for, but I hope it's something nasty.

I need to see all of Dogma. I've only seen bits of pieces, and I LOVE THOSE BITS TO DEATH. Because. Seriously. Oh my god. The hilarity. the blasphemy.

I'd ask for it for Christmas, but my religious parents might lynch me.

... Then again, my dad watches Futurama and... oh, god, what's that show? Guh. That stupid so-called-comedy with "Git R Done"... And "You Might Be a Redneck If"...

My mother randomly bought Brothers Grimm for me and I'm yet to watch it. I'll let you know if I'm freaked out or not. I saw Happy Feet twice (a friend pressured me into it and my parents said it was okay for me to see it. How wrong they were.), and I was shocked both times by Lovelace's behaviour. Yes, it is about penguin sex. If only I'd read your warning, Keri.

Actually I don't consider Dogma to be particularly blasphemous. o_O Well, I say that, but then again I'm not Christian so I s'pose it wouldn't offend me lol. Even so, unless you're TOTALLY uptight, evangelical and whatever the terms are, I don't think it's too bad. It's actually quite sweet, and certainly doesn't paint Christianity in a bad light. Unless I'm missing something?

But yes, the hilarity is definately there. :P
